Here at Shannon Valley, we strive to produce multi-faceted Labradors, suitable for companionship, obedience, agility, conformation, field and work. Our dogs are bred with an emphasis on pleasant, intelligent temperaments, soundness and conformation. The Labradors we breed have OFA hip and elbow clearances, CERF eye clearances, and have annual heart exams and have been Optigen tested. The Cavaliers we breed have annual heart exams, CERF eye clearances and patella exams.
We started “in dogs” in 1989 with an animal shelter Labrador and obedience lessons. Our interest rapidly grew and we are proud of our accomplishments. We have bred and finished multiple American and Canadian champions, obedience titled dogs and dogs with field and agility titles. We bred and owned the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex dogs at the 2002 Westminster Kennel Club show. We have bred and shown multiple specialty winning dogs and we pride ourselves on breeding Labradors that are competitive at both all breed shows and specialties.
